What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is business casual. Think smart and comfortable.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
Weather in July in BC is Generally warm with highs of 25°C. In case on inhospitable weather the wedding will move indoors at the wedding pavilion where the reception is.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both are at the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges for the wedding part to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held in an outdoor pavilion that has a concrete floor and can be closed in if necessary. If its a lovely summer day sun screen is recommended. The ceremony will likely take 30ish minutes.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour; there will be games set up on the lawn for use during the cocktail hour and after dinner.
Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
Directions from Vancouver
1.) West on the Trans-Canada Highway
2.) Take exit 109 for Yale Road West
3.) Merge right onto Yale Rd W
4.) 1.3 KM turn right into Chilliwack GC
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony at approx 3:15PM to make sure everyone is seated on time. Wedding will start at 4PM sharp.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is free at the golf club.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before April 30th. You can mail back the card enclosed in your invitation or simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.
Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?
After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light hors d’oeuvres accompanied by the bar. The drink tickets will be provided to you and after your drink tickets are used it is a cashbar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktail.
Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Yes, Buffet dinner will be served. The menu is still being finalized.
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
Please reach out to wedding@packer.ca to let us know if there is any dietary requirements we can pass on to the venue.
Where are you registered?
“We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we certainly appreciate anything towards the honeymoon fund.”
Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?
If you are staying at the Hotel please let us know so we can add you to Shuttle service. There will be 2 services, one from the hotel to venue with the wedding party and at the very end of the night from the venue back to the hotel.
