Mike and Janet officially met in early January 2023 but had know of each other for 10ish years by a mutual friend to Mike and work Mentor to Janet - Michael Love.

After losing his Wife in 2018, Mike had just decided to start dating again a few months earlier but found it hard to find a connection with someone.

Janet, who had been separated from her husband for a while, was in and out of the dating world but again struggled to find a connection until one day, when she found Mike online and decided to swipe on him.

Meanwhile, Mike gets a notification that this person had swiped on him but not putting two and two together, yet he saw that Michael was a mutual friend. Mike reached out to Michael to inquire about this person "Janet". After a quick conversation, the light bulb finally went off. I had heard about Janet over the years. She's known Michael longer than I have. She was the one that offered G a grad dress after Cindy passed and we were have trouble finding one.

Michael then called Janet to ask her if she knew who I was, then it clicked for her as well.

Once Mike and Janet met in person they immediately felt a spark that has continued to grow. Janet soon moved in with Mike at his new house in Maple Ridge, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Mike and Janet love to travel and camp in their trailer. They are looking forward to doing more of these things together as Mr. and Mrs. Packer
